More Staff join the Team!
In our last Newsletter we introduced Patrick, one of our new staff members. Patrick works in our development team (one of those clever technician people) with our Solutions Architect, Steven Quick. The development team focuses on enhancing the services that we offer to most of you, the end users.
We have another new staff member to talk about in this newsletter, Garry Hawthorn.
Garry has extensive knowledge of the FMCG industry and a strong background in space management from his previous role at Master Pet. He has joined us as a Senior Account Manager.

Countdown Online
It was encouraging to hear Peter Smith talk about the importance of online shopping to Progressive’s business at last month Food and Grocery Council meeting held in Sydney.
Countdown Online launched earlier this year and follows in the very successful footsteps of the Woolworths and Foodtown online shopping sites.
The Online Content Management Team at Progressive download a significant number of images from Fetch each week. At Image Net we can help ensure all the Progressive online sites contain accurate imagery and information for all your products.
For maximum exposure and availability of your products for online shopping we urge you to please send us your current products for photography and upload into Fetch.

Space Management and The Nielsen Group
Recently we have been meeting with the Industry Data leaders at The Nielsen Group with regards to Planograms and Space Management.
Fetch is our extensive online database of product imagery. It is heavily used by many suppliers, agencies and retailers (Foodstuffs, Progressive & The Warehouse) for dimension data, planograms and market analysis.
The Nielsen Group has suggested that we offer a Planogram service to our suppliers as we have such an extensive database of product imagery in Fetch.
With Foodstuffs moving towards “Category Champions” providing plans in a Spaceman format and with the investment into Spaceman being prohibitive for smaller suppliers, we believe an Image Net Planogram service could be of real benefit in the market.
We would very much appreciate any feedback you and your colleagues care to forward to us as we continue to assess this service.

Generate Finds Favour with Suppliers
Our Generate service allows you to produce printable product catalogues in PDF and Excel format quickly and easily from your product images and information stored in Fetch.
This is has proven to be a valuable tool for Staff, Partners, Sales Brokers and Merchandisers and a big timer saver.
The standard catalogue has consistent preset fields (Image, Brand, SKU, Barcode, Dimensions etc). However, we also offer custom catalogues where we can create an ideal layout for your particular usage making use of extra fields of your own choosing such as: Carton Barcode, SAP Code, Units Per Pack and so on.

Welcome to New Suppliers
The number of suppliers utilizing the Fetch and Generate services continues to grow.

Foodstuffs Supplier Relationship Management
We were delighted to hear about Foodstuffs’ new initiative called SRM: Supplier Relationship Management.
This online contact management system is a great communication tool for Suppliers and Foodstuffs National.
FMCG is certainly a fast paced industry and this also applies to the great people working in the Industry. It can be difficult keeping tabs as to who your point of contact is over time. With SRM each Supplier establishes a key user and then Foodstuffs establishes the same, hence a communication link is formed!

Season’s Greetings & Holiday Hours
It’s hard to believe that it’s that time of year again, and what a year it has been, one of the more interesting years in regards to trading for most.
For Image Net it has been one of seeing new people join our team and the amazing growth of our services, Generate, Fetch, BrandEmail and of course iBank.
We would like to thank all the Suppliers and Retailers for the wonderful support we have received and we would like to pass on a very Merry Christmas to all the fantastic people that we get to deal with.
Image Net will be closed on the statutory holidays (27th and 28th December, 3rd and 4th January), other than those days there will be staff available to assist you so please contact us.
